Small Table DIY Makeover
A couple of months ago I found the cutest little table for my porch for only $20! It needed A LOT of love, but I think this DIY project will be well worth the labor of love. After my purchase, I scoured the web and of course Pinterest to find inspiration from some of my favorite bloggers. I knew I wanted something different from everyday furniture, wanted to use the color red, but it also had to be able to stand up to the outdoor elements. I picked a few of my favorite options to share to see which projects are your favorite for my DIY small table makeover.
Geometric Coffee Table Makeover from Tattered and Inked
- While the color of this table would clash with the color of my house, I really like the geometric shape on top of this table. While it seems like it would be a lot of work to get the lines just right, the detail really makes the table different and grabs your attention. I also like the aging and distress because it gives the table a little extra interest. You can get the full step-by-step tutorial here: Geometric Table Project
DIY Coastal Compass Table by Beachwood Place
- I share an image of the top of this table because I love the design and topic that was painted. The blue background and off-white compass is a great addition to any decorating color schemes. In this DIY post, this table is added to a nautical room with a beach theme. It is an amazing side table that pops with the other items in the room. You can see more pictures of the finished table here and you can follow the instructions so you can make a table of your own: DIY Coastal Compass Table
DIY home: art book decoupaged coffee table from Mr. Kate
- I am seriously in love with the bones and architectural detail of this table. They make this DIY project pretty spectacular. My favorite thing, however, is how she took images from an old art book and decoupaged them to the tabletop. While I am not crazy about the subject matter, I can appreciate the artistic perspective used to create this really cool piece. Painted stripes drop leaf table from Southern Hospitality
- While this last table doesn’t have a DIY tutorial to go along with it, I loved the pop of red on a creamy, distressed background so I decided to include. The Southern Hospitality blog found this piece at a local store and she shared it with her readers. If you like the look of this, you should check out the blog post with all of the other items in this store: Queen of Hearts Antiques in Marietta.
So I am dying to know, which piece is your favorite? Comment below and let me know.
