Oh, my freaking goodness! Christmas is right around the corner, and I couldn’t be any happier. The weather is getting cold. It is easier to hide my lousy eating habits. Everyone seems just a little jollier. Since Christmas is pretty synonymous with gift giving, I have started hitting my design skills to create new items. And because it is the season of giving, I am going to be sharing some of my favorite SVG files so you can craft creations of your own! How cool is that?
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas carols and inspiration for this SVG file. The nostalgia gives me the warm and fuzzy feelings that make Christmas so special. This is why I have chosen to make this the first SVG file I share.
Here are a few ideas of ways to use this SVG to make your house more festive or create a gift.
SVG Christmas Crafting Ideas
- Outdoor Doormat: These can be easily made by cutting the SVG file into freezer paper and dabbing acrylic paint into the stencil, onto the blank doormat. If you don’t have freezer paper, you can use removable vinyl for the same effect. This project can be done with kids or friends to welcome all your guests coming into your home. This is also a great way to keep the winter elements to be wiped off shoes as they come into your house.
- CozyCoffee Mug: Coffee mugs are one of my favorite items to give as gifts during Christmas because so many of my loved ones are obsessed with their morning cup of joe. By making a special mug as a gift, you let them know you’re thinking of them. You can also add a year to the cup and create your own Christmas collection.
I hope you enjoy the free download and share what you create!
