As promised, here is the next crafting file for the Christmas series. This SVG is actually a file that I used to create a sign for my Christmas tree. I have gotten so many compliments on it and I am proud of it, even though it is simplistic. I got the sign on sale at Michael’s last year, and it has become one of my Christmas treasures. Now I just have to wait until it is socially acceptable to put my tree up!
Although the file looks like it is all white, the different parts of the file can be separated into different colors. In the sign to the right, I made the star out of a metallic foil vinyl and the Isaiah 9:6 out of red foil. With the white words of the Bible verse against a chalkboard background, the whole piece came together really nicely.

- I would have to say that my favorite project for this SVG cut file would have to be a welcome mat for your home entryway. There isn’t a better way to remind guests of the reason for the season as they enter your home. As I mentioned in my Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas post, that you can simply cut out the file in freezer paper and paint over it with a thick acrylic paint. A simple and easy project with a great impact on your holiday decor.
- I also think using this cut file on a mug is a great way to welcome the warmth of a woodburning fire and savor a cup of hot chocolate. It is subtle enough but adds a pleasant graphic detail for Christmas to your mug at the office or around the home.
